Growing up my mom always used to say, "as you think so shall you be". Years later, I can appreciate her words more than before as I walk into situations and encounter other professionals whose resumes intimidate me. Pauline Clance coined the term imposter syndrome which is defined as the following:
the persistent inability to believe that one's success is deserved or has been legitimately achieved as a result of one's own efforts or skills
Coming back to my mom's affirmation, "as you think so shall you be", we can agree that it is critical to overcoming doubting beliefs in order to reach our highest self. Some ways to overcome imposter syndrome are:

Positive self-talk - turn around your negative thoughts and work on letting go of beliefs that don't serve you.
Community support system - as you share your vulnerability you will see that others relate to your feelings as well. Remind yourself that nobody knows everything.
Visualization - picture your ideal self, and ideal situation, regularly.
Supportive leaders - if you are a leader be supportive and self-aware. You'd be surprised at how small comments can worsen imposter syndrome among those around you who look up to you.
