Here are 5 things to consider when constructing your email subject line:
Before sending your message, ensure you are communicating with a professional email address. Professional email addresses usually include your first and last name or initial and last name.
Keep it short and sweet. No slang.
Only include the important keywords. For instance, if you are applying for a job and you were referred by someone, state the individual's name in the subject line. Or if the organization uses posting ID's or codes make sure you include that as well.
Send the message in the morning, between 8 am - 9:30 am.
Proofread. Reading out loud to yourself can help you catch silly errors.
